Foxglove Cottage welcomed its first guests for an extended Christmas Holidays stay on December 21. After undergoing extensive renovation and improvement Foxglove has re-opened as a 4 bedroom cottage with 2 en-suite shower rooms plus a further bathroom. One of the double bedrooms with en-suite shower room is on the ground floor. The fully fitted designer kitchen has a dining table seating 8 guests. The cottage is entirely double glazed and has gas radiator central heating. Photos will be on the website shortly. The garden will be replanted and the lawn re-sown and there is a new large patio area for outdoor dining/sitting. There is off-road parking for up to 4 cars at the rear of the property.

Nordic Walking weekend Nov 18-20

Come and sample the delights of the stunning New Forest whilst learning the technique of Nordic Walking. A great way to get fit and enjoy a week-end away. Arrive Friday and accommodation is in either Oakapple or Honeysuckle Cottages (adjacent to each other). Continental breakfasts supplied on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Three x two hour walking sessions led by experienced instructor Kate Mitchell ( Sat morning and afternoon and Sunday morning). Poles supplied, good walking shoes needed. Beginners welcome. Come on your own, with family or in a group of friends. Cost is £165 pp.
